Alice's Adventures in Wonderland (commonly Alice in Wonderland) is an 1865 English novel by Lewis Carroll. It details the story of a young girl named Alice who falls through a rabbit hole into a fantasy world of anthropomorphic creatures. Now one of the best-known works of Victorian literature, it is credited as helping end an era in children's literature, inaugurating a new era in which writing for children aimed to "delight or entertain".

THE STORY
These charming Fabric Folk Kits are part of an ongoing collaboration between The Shop Floor Project and paper-cut artist Amanda White. Celebrating important figures throughout history the collection includes: Picasso, William Morris, Beatrix Potter, Caroline Herschel the astrologer, Charles Dickens, Emily Dickinson, Frida Kahlo, Marie Antoinette, Oscar Wilde, Queen Elizabeth I, Dido Belle, Mary Anning the fossil hunter, writers Virginia Woolf, Jane Austen and the Brontë sisters Anne, Charlotte and Emily.
Amanda White’s celebrated collages of portraits and historical houses bring together her love of old buildings and literature. Trained as a theatre designer, each paper cut feels like a set design or sketch for a costume, each one drawing you into the scene and finding more, as you take in all the detail.
