Product Details

Name: Spice Spoon (individual)

Artist Name: Oji Masanori and the Futagami Foundry

Size: 10 cm x 0.4cm

Price: £55

Arrives in a presentation box, with maker's information and cleaning cloth (see picture left)

Material: Sand-cast brass and silver cutlery from a foundry founded in the 19th century in the Japanese city of Takaoka. Created by Oji Masanori using finely ground silver plate for the heads and raw cast brass for the handles.

Each piece is hand made and the raw brass casting process called Ihada, this contrasts beautifully with the silver.

Use something beautiful everyday with this little utensil, perfect for all manner of jobs; jams, spices, salt etc.
