Garlands have been made since Roman times and there is something very joyous about draping and festooning a chain of paper loops around the home. In five designs, each one is also printed with a star or stripe lining. Strewn around the tree, across the hallway or hang from the table and stretch four pieces to each corner making a Swedish inspired ‘garland tent’.
EACH KIT MAKES UP TO 10 METRES OF CHAIN.
Easy to make:
1. Carefully pull apart the garland strips along the perforated lines
2. Thread one strip inside the other and secure in a loop with glue or invisible tape
This garland kit makes approximately 10 metres of chain..
Ideas for designs
Assemble, alternating the colours for one long 10 metre garland
Or assemble all the same colour giving you five metres of each colour
Or perhaps, play around with the design, experimenting by turning the inside outside as you build the garland.
