Eleanor Meredith
Eleanor Meredith is a British artist originally from the wilds of Scotland. Currently based in a studio hidden at the top of an old cinema in Hackney, east London where she works as both an illustrator and ceramicist. Eleanor has a gift for the economy of line, achieving a suggestion of the subject matter rather than a replication of it. For artists like Mattise and Picasso the more they could say with the least strokes the better the results, and we can see this approach in Eleanor’s porcelain sculptures, as well as her drawings.
