These extraordinary purses are based on three coins that are no longer in circulation; The Half Penny, Half Crown and the large One Penny. With the skill that Natalie Thakur’s work has become known for, each circular piece of leather is embossed with bespoke metal plates that Natalie designed with permission from The Royal Mint.

Digital Landscape - new silk scarf collection by Ella Doran
Textile artist Ella Doran experiments with mixing old printing methods with new digital technologies to create vibrant textiles that translate beautifully into wearable scarves.
A graduate of the prestigious Edinburgh College of Art, Ella’s silk scarves have been exhibited across the country and, until recently, only sold through art galleries.
The new Digital Landscape collection is inspired the patterns, forms and colours found in Aboriginal and African art.
British design duo, Vanessa Barneby and Alice Gates have launched their first wallpaper collection which combines a quintessentially english feel with a bold,
modern edge. Country house style antlers are used a graphic motif with metallic details, pretty butterflies dance up the wall against a lace pattern made up of insects and a nostalgic collection of found photographs creates a fascinating design.
Passionate about British manufacturing, all of Barneby Gates wallpapers are printed using traditional methods at one of the few remaining print works in the Midlands.
by Rheanna Lingham
Jewellery designer Rheanna Lingham has always been fascinated with natural materials from feathers to stone. But her love of the iridescent beetle wing surpasses any other material.
“These magical wings have always been a fascination of mine, they have a really interesting history which I’ve written a thesis about. The oldest documented example of the use of beetle wings is seen in the Tamamushi Shrine, dating from 650 A.D and were often used in embroidery as sequins in India and a craze for them in the Victorian era brought them to Britain.”
